Winner Premiers Trophy 2008 AIBA - Best Victorian Beer
Malt! That's what this beer says. Also known as a Vienna Lager or Marzen Beer (March Beer) this style is a traditionally brewed German
lager combining an abundance of Vienna and Munich malts to create a
deep red or burnished copper Lager - full of biscuity malt goodness
and full bodied caramel flavours. A warming alcohol level and light
bitterness make this malty treat a great food all-rounder, and an
all-round favourite for both beer enthusiasts and the less
adventurous alike. |

This beer was the highest scoring
Victorian beer at the 2008 Australian International Beer
Awards, and as such was the recipient of the Premiers
Trophy. By a quirk of fate, the engravers made an error in
the name on the trophy and henceforth this fantastic Vienna
style-lager is named Big Reg in honour of the 2008 Premiers
Trophy. |
