A barrel-aged Belgian style Quadrupel, the 2011 release of
Beelzebub's Jewels is a precious and rare concoction from the boys
at Holgate Brewhouse weighing in at a devilish 12.0% abv. The
warming effects of the strong beer are follwed by a bold and
assertive character derived from French oak barrels still carrying a
trace of fine Curly Flat Pinot Noir from the Macedon Ranges, and a
judicious application of a special blend of Barrel hops. Drinkers
beware.... this beer has balls! |
